Osamu Tezuka Film Works Review

This DVD contains Osamu Tezuka's best experimental animated works : over 2 hours and a half of astonishing animation ! Of course, you shouldn't expect to see anything like Metropolis or the more modern animated works adapted from Tezuka's works, as some of these films date back to the 1960s. But these are perfect short films, full of wit, imagination and creativity. "Jumping" is a classic and my favourite, I can watch it over and over again and never get bored ! "Muramasa" is very impressive too. All the other shorts are really worth a view ! It's a pity there are no English subtitles though, because one of the shorts is very hard to understand without them. Hope some fans will translate it some day, if nobody releases a Complete Works of Tezuka on DVD...
