You get the staged footage of Elvis arriving in Hawaii and greeting fans, which is actually pretty boring. You get the complete rehearsal concert that was taped two days before the live broadcast. Elvis shows more energy here than in the broadcast concert, but he forgets more of the lyrics and sings two less songs. You get the complete Aloha from Hawaii Concert, which has been re-edited from scratch. The show was originally broadcast with quite a bit of "montage" footage, which means multiple images from the concert seen on the screen all at once in video blocks, but almost all of those effects were removed from this version. After the concert, Elvis recorded five songs on stage with no audience, which were inserted into the concert after commercial breaks, played with montage footage of Hawaii. The complete footage of that recording session is here, complete with all takes of each song, with no footage of Hawaii. Finally, the original broadcast version of Elvis Aloha from Hawaii is included, minus the commercials. What more can you ask for?

Philip Gray: Step Temptation & Hi-Low Revelation Review

You will sweat doing this DVD. I like the fact that the instructions are cued well, the music is interesting and the aerobic section is long enough to get a good sweat. (About 60 minutes of aerobics) I also like the fact that you can skip the second aerobic section if short on time.
I thought that some of the step movements were a bit too dancy (turn and the step, back off, step, half off again etc.) and could be dangerous on carpet or on a higher step, but this is not a beginner DVD, so hopefully experienced steppers will modify.
Other than that, this is a good DVD to get your heart rate up and keep it up!

I spent the last 60 years looking for this pre-war aviation movie after seeing it on TV only once as a child in the early 1950s. The only known surviving 35mm print is now in the UCLA Film Library. Here is a new DVD scanned from a 16mm print that dramatizes the Civilian Pilot Training Program created by the government in 1939 to build up a national cadre of pilots at colleges around the country prior to Pearl Harbor and the US entry into WW II. All the flying action in this movie is REAL, using vintage 1929 Stearman biplanes owned by the Chief Stunt Pilot for the film, Paul Mantz. This includes the breathtaking flights deep down inside the Grand Canyon and the climactic one-wheel emergency landing. Spencer Markee's service on this DVD is superb and well worth the price. Every aviation historian should have this DVD in their personal library
