Gung Ho Review

When I was growing up I used to watch Gung Ho everytime it came to television. No at 50, and a former Leatherneck, I still enjoy this war flick. It is one of the progaganda films made during the war. The story is about the creation of the Marine Raiders and moves right along with the training and battles these men faced in the Pacific. The acting is good, the pace is fast, and it gives a taste of America when we still remembered that we were "meant" to Win Wars. Randolph Scott gives a good performance as Col. Carlson, founders of the Raiders.
