Not that this is a bad film per se, just not one I would watch again or recommend outright to customers.

The storyline follows an unlikely mess of individual therapy patients that take their issues into a group setting, with them being duct taped and robbed at their first session. Justin Kirk, great in Weeds: Season Two [Blu-ray] and Estella Warren (who I remember most from being the hot babe in Planet of the Apes [Blu-ray]) lead this motley group in trying to solve their problems through themselves, resulting in forced moments, awkward situations and unfunny outcomes. The cover art would have you believe Whoopi Goldberg has a prominent role, but the only scene she is in are those two pictures (less than a minute).

The DVD has nothing to offer, not even subtitles or alternate language tracks. The 5.1 is somewhat muddled but Maya did include a 2.0 track. The love story between the two leads has some believability, but you really do find yourself rolling your eyes at the characters more often than not. Gave it 2.5 stars for content and .5 star for mild DVD clarity, otherwise a skipper for owning and maybe a light evening rental.
