The movie was about strength, character, and dignity.
I felt the men in the movie all had dreams of serving their country. When they were denied to become pilots and officers, I knew that they were going to be used.
The captains in the movie did not care for their men at all. The only person that really cared about these men was their drill sargent. When the men requested to become fighters, pilots, and officers....the military lied to them and denied them a chance...when they got their assignments they were sad. They did the job even without training and the proper tools....that was dignity and honor to server their country. What happened to safety of people on the job?
The mutiny was not an issue because they never had that in their minds. I can't believe that America the country that we all love and care for...will not do the right thing and give them their honary discharges after all these years. There was no lesson to be learned on the part of the men...the lesson in the movie is
for the Officers that made the decision to place people in harms way and use them like machines instead of humans....the wrong decision was to take take honor and dignity from these men. I hope that everyone that made the decision to mistreat these men, will speak up and do the right thing and give these men their dignity and honor back.
