The reason for 3 stars is because you can't really grow beyond the stuff you learn on these discs. She doesn't teach much music theory at all, so if you want to just learn some cords, strumming patterns, and a few songs to get you started, then this is great. I also put 3 stars cause it's a bit pricey IMO(for what you get overall). I've already found someone else that has MANY free lessons on YouTube, theory, the whole nine yards. So, I'd rather go get lessons there than have to spend almost $100 for these.

These will get you started, but in the end you will be hitting a wall. Best to learn the music the real way from the beginning, or you'll be like me...played for awhile using worship songs...just like with this video, but can't branch out unless you learn about "music" itself.
