White Comanche"...1967/Color. Oy Vey...This was bad. Even a die hard oater lover like me had a hard time with this one. I thought with Joseph Cotton and William Shatner, I would find some redeeming value, but alas I did not.

Twin brothers who are half white and half Comanche(both played by Shatner, and I forgive him for this), have conflicts between them and with their identities as well. Probably worth the view for a few good laughs..

If you love these old oaters, you should check out the Great American Western series put out by Platinum Disc. "White Comanche" may be found on Volume 20 of "The Great American Western Series", (also included in Vol 2 of the 10 pack set).Great American Western V.20, The also includes, a fun look at an old Roy Rogers flick, "The Bells of San Angelo" and a great documentary about the John Ford Westerns. Don't expect anything like a big studio transfer, or the attention that is paid to the classics on these sets(although some look pretty good). They all have pretty decent sound though and are all enhanced In DD 5.1. They are priced right, and is a better way to go than buying all these old westerns separately.
